Some years ago I found a set of strings with a fiber core and multicolored outer winding. The brand name was 'King Kamanawanaplayah' and they were wonderful! They were made by Guadalupe Custom Strings in Goleta, California. Since then I've had no luck in finding any more and direct inquiries to the company have not been answered.
