I will be on O'ahu from Dec 24-Jan 6. Does anyone know of any slack key performances on the island at that time? I've been looking online and have found very little. Who should I call when I get there (ie, which venues, etc?)? Any other Hawai'ian style music happening then that anyone recommends I shouldn't miss?

Pick up a copy of the free "Honolulu Weekly" when you arrive (available at newsstands & shopping centers all over O`ahu) to see who is playing where. Their calendar is accurate and informative -- divided by musical genre -- for gigs at all hotels, clubs, lounges.
