For those interested I posted a review in the 4th peg parlor room on the Joy of Uke 2 DVD. I purchased it and viewed it a couple of times as a part of my recovery. Here is the link.

It was easier to post the link than type it all over again.

Hey Dominic,

Thanks for such a thorough review. `Ukulele is so on my mind since I just got home from seeing Jake Shimabukuro play tonight. It is incredible that he can engage the crowd for an hour and a half just playing solo instrumentals. After hanging out with friends, I sit hear typing at 2am.

Hope your recovering well and will be back to 100% soon. Aloha to you.

Andy

Hi Andy,
I also had the privelage of seeing Jake play at our local Borders Records and Tapes. I was about 20 feet from him and he played for just over an hour. And this was a free show. Seeing him play was what got me started on attempting to transcribe some of his stuff. He only sat down a couple of times. Mostly he just moved all over the place putting on quite and energetic show. I hope to see him again one day.

I am doing well enough to play my uke again and will have a transcription of Lyle Ritz's "Lulu's Back in Town" posted on my site some time today.
