I recently picked up a couple of CD's without knowing what in the heck was in them. Titled "Spamusu That's Japanese Style" and "Sapusu 2 That's Japanese Style", these are an interesting addition to anyone's music collection. What they are are compilations of various Japanese groups and artists (even Herb Ohta Jr. has a track) performing music hawaiian in origin or styled. But the kicker is: all words (pretty much, the english is extremely precise, so you know they're ESL;)) are sung in Japanese! Unless you read Japanese (and I don't: Kotonk through and through), you'll have no idea what the song is about. However, it's still a pretty wild ride (the playing is good too!)
