It always pains me when a truly good recording of Hawaiian music goes out of print -- especially when it features stellar musicians such as the ones which did this CD: http://www.mele.com/v3/info/1089.htm
Pekelo Cosma, Haunani Apoliona, Ray Kane, Gary Haleamau, and Led Kaapana were captured on this live recording at the 1994 version of the annual Northwest Folklife Festival.
Because the Festival tries to produce new recordings of their event, older ones such as this one are usually allowed to just disappear. :-(
The Festival folks have indicated that if there is sufficient demand for a re-publishing of this CD, they will consider a fresh "press". So....a visit to www.folklife.org will give you the contact form (bottom of site's front page). Mebbe they just need some prodding....<g>
