OK!!! The new snow last weekend was fabulous for skiing. I'm looking forward to going again for the weekend of March 19/20. I will be renting a very nice house on the harbor at Tahoe Keys. It will be fully furnished with a private hot tub for those poor aching muscles from skiing or playing the guitar. Or uke. Those of you who want to join me can either ski, or play music all day, or go to the casinos or the outlet shops. There is plenty to do. I took a big group from work there last weekend and we had such a good time. Nearby there is also a VERY good little restaurant with a Hawaiian theme, excellent food and wonderful people.
Since I get a substantial discount there (frequent flyer rates), the price per person will be around $120 for the whole weekend, two people to a bedroom. If someone doesn't mind sleeping on the den sofa sleeper, the cost will be less. Sign up soon if you want to go! JHendriks @ aol.com

OK Kids, I've paid for the place but noone has signed up, so I'll be in this big house all by myself. (except for hubby.) And maybe my son. So if anyone wants to come, come and stay for free. No sense in letting the place go unappreciated. We're just going to go and enjoy ourselves, go skiing, out to dinner at our favorite place with fresh Hawaiian fish, play all night long. (Ukulele!) Come along! Julie |

Just stumbled onto this website. Am very interested in learning to play "Hawaiian style" music. Wife and I will be in South Lake Tahoe March 19 and 20. If I knew where to find you, I'd bring my instruments (guitar, ukulele). Please let me know, thanks. Dan |

Aloha Dan, I'm so sorry we missed you in Lake Tahoe. We had dinner at a nice little restaurant named Freshies, they play Hawaiian music and the chef/owner is wanting to take ukulele lessons. Then we played music for a while, and skied the next day. The snow was mushy in the afternoon, but there were NO crowds! It was great fun. Wish we could have hooked up together... Better luck next time. Julie |
