This is so cool. I just read this at Keola D's www.nahenahe.net: quote: Ulukau: The Hawaiian Electronic Library Goes Online A project that I've been working on for the past few years at Hale Kuamo‘o and in conjunction with Alu Like and a slew of other agencies has finally reached fruition. Searchable Hawaiian dictionaries (The Pûku‘i/Elbert dictionary as well as the Mâmaka Kaiao new lexicon dictionary), newspaper archives, the Ka Ho‘olina Hawaiian academic journal, Hawaiian Bible and online books. My MA thesis will be online there soon as well, with audio samples. E nanea (enjoy!)
Try it. You'll like it! http://ulukau.olelo.hawaii.edu/english.php

Mahalo Andy,
This is fantastic. I've put-off buying Da Big Book for long time...now it may be even longer!

Andy, you are So right! This is severely cool. Living with a polyglot, however nice, means that I am often in some difficulty. This is the way to catch up a bit.
Also, the site has some publications that Sarah finds hard to get, but this makes it easy.
Mahalo.
