Hello all, I'm new to this forum so I'm going to promise right away not to use any pseudo-pidgin. Does anyone know of a good source of Hawaiian LPs where I might find the title: Eddie Kamae Presents The Sons of Hawaii HSC 2002, long out of print. Also any information on renditions of the tune "La Elima" composed by Elizabeth Kuahaia, would be greatly appreciated. Regards, A.T.

Also, Melveen Leed on I love You Hawai'i Diane Aki on the sound track to Troubled Paradise and I think it is also on Iz's Facing Future |

Adam, Aloha and welcome. I noticed on your bio that you're a National man. Any slack key on the brass or German silver? |

Dear C, I have a newish tricone on which I mess with several open tuning styles. I am interested in most Hawaiian music, but I specialize in early steel guitar on an old squareneck. My slack key is limited to a few beginner tunes for now. The wife plays the uke. I also scrape away on the fiddle. Jug blues and Appalachian. I hear strong cross pollination in all American music. Regards AT. |

Dear KB, Greetings from North Carolina. We will be visiting the Big Island sometime. My wife's cousin recently bought a few acres of warm lava on which he has erected a picturesque shack. We do not play particularly well, but it has the power to transport us, as on a magic carpet, to a happier world. Thankyou for your invitation. We were very interested to find your website. Regards, A.T. |
