I've posted a couple times before, with a little bit about me but not too much.
I grew up on Oahu, but moved to San Diego, CA when I was about 16 years old. I lived in Mililani. I'm 25 now.
I didn't really get into Hawaiian music until I left the islands. I picked up guitar about a year ago, and about 2 or 3 weeks ago decided to start learning slack key. I started by taking Keola Beamer's online lessons. I flew through those in about a week, and now I'm working on Opihi Moemoe.
Does any one know of some good teachers in the area, or any one in the central coast that enjoys playing?
