Aloha Gang!

I have been lurking around for a few months and have finally decided to post. Thank you for all of the countless words of wisdom I've been able to garner from all your posts.

I have finally decided to take the initiative to learn this wonderful art of Ki Ho'alu. I have already been fortunate to corespond with a few of you via email (thanks Kevin and Patrick) and hope to meet many more of you throughout the years.

Who else here on the forum is from Maui?

Aloha,

Clarke Tuitele

Welcome Clarke,
Actually, Maui is a bedroom community for Fairbanks, Alaska. It is THE place to go over Chrisatmas break and/or spring break. The trend is so strong, that during the Christmas reditions of "The Messiah" , the Hallelulea chorus is sung "Honolulu, Honolulu, etc. etc" I know, Honolulu ain't Maui, but coming from Alaska you have to land there first, so there you have it.
Those wre not exactly words of wisdom, but the leaves are just coming out on the trees, and there is hope for more interesting banter in the future.
