Excellent ukulele instruction!! Herb Ohta Jr. is very experienced at teaching. Spent a lot of time with theory (chord construction, transcription, etc). He spent time showing finger picking excercises, strumming patterns, improvisation techniques. Was able to endure 8 hours of instruction without getting bored. Instructors did not "show off" during the course, but instead focused on teaching and having fun. It all ended with a concert in the evening and they cut loose and blew us out of the water with their music. My hats go off to the organizers and Herb Ohta Jr. and David Kamakahi! |
