Hey, Everyone.
I am really hoping someone will go around to the different Halau on the Mainland and give a demonstration of Ki Ho'alu for all the Haumana, and maybe a seminar. Then maybe some people will get interested in learning it, for an opportunity for our Halau 'ohana.
We mostly have lessons for 'ukulele, but not usually for guitar, and this is an important part of our culture.
The idea inside ku'u mana'o is first have some kind of relaxed show, probably with food, as people here like to eat, and then round up all the keiki that are swinging on the trees, maybe sit on grass, eat and listen.
I know there is a lot of us, but we can be rounded up into relatively one place, and we clean up real good because Kumu has a microphone.
