Aloha... I'll be at the San Mateo County Fair every day at 3pm on the Tiki Lounge stage playing solo uke. On Wednesday night, at 8pm, the HUI Players (a total of 12 students), will entertain in the Sequoia Hall . On Saturday, Aug. 21, at 5pm, The HUI will host the 4th Annual "Uke Jam '2004"(open mic). For more info go to http://www.sanmateocountyfair.com And finally, On Aug. 28th at Gryphon Strings in Palo Alto, I will be giving 2 workshops. One for beginners at 11am and another at 2pm for advanced players. Go to http://www.gryphonstrings.com for more info and to purchase a ticket. The uke is an excellent instrument to help relax and relieve stress. Playing the uke makes us tap into our creative energies and sharpens our appreciation for the fine arts. One drawback is that it can be addictive, all consumming and may lead to stronger instruments. The uke is highly recommended for people of all ages, pregnant women and people with heart problems. If you need therapy or any kind of uke related services please come and say hello. Stay tuned... Hiram Bell

Stay Tuned...
