Thanks to all our great resources with words...
I recently was helped with identifying and finding words for:
"Ka'a Uluwehi o Ke Kai"...
I'd like to add the last tag, that HAPA uses AFTER their "Ha'ina mai ka puana...Anoni me ke lipalu" verse. It's a musical tag, with:

"He ho'i ho mai,
no no, ka aina i?i tu amo'o,
ka la hui";

then the final turnarounds on guitar.
Forgive and CORRECT any syllabic approximations!
Any clarification and interpretation is appreciated.

Gordon,

Sarah helped me with this not too long ago over email. Here's what she wrote:
quote:
E ho`i hou mai ana
No ka `äina iwikuamo`o
No ka lähui

Returning (coming back)
to (because of) the family (ancestral) land [as after a long absence]
to (because of) the nation/tribe/people [i.e. one's own people]

Thanks again, Sarah!

Andy

Thanks Andy and Sarah.
