So I'm sure you remember the commercial several years ago with a guy playing uke and singing "why oh why fly to kauai when you can be with me in waikiki". A friend and I have been trying to figure out if this is a real song for YEARS...anyone know if it is real and if so, who sings it or where we can get a recording of it?
Hey Zach, I did a little research on this for you and there have been quite a few others trying to figure out the same thing over the years. No conclusive proof but it looks an awful lot like the song was made up for the commercial.
