Does the rest of the island duck when you folks hit town?
I'm stopping in Oahu - haven't been since -78 and there used to be a great place for Big Manapua at the Alamuana mall. I'll look for da carts for malasadas.
Only 2 flavors now of guri guri at Kahului mall - seems like they used to have lots and lots of flavors. Cascaron is at farmers' mkt in Wailuku. I love to eat - so many good flavors over there. Many we get here in Gardena CA. but not as good.....
I'm going to check out, see if I can rent a scooter. Drive of 1/2 hr not so bad, walk that far? not me! not even for fresh bread.
Still can't wait!
