Who else is going to this weekend's Pacific Northwest Hawaiian Music Institute in Seattle?
I'm looking forward to the lessons, but also hoping to jam with some Seattle locals during breaks in the action.

Aloha e Jesse,

I'll be there! I may have my 12yo son with me on Saturday and will probably have to leave right after the class, but I'm up for some jamming on Sunday.

BTW - There's a prediction for a winter storm later this week. I hope that doesn't cause us any problems.

Aloha a hui hou,
Chris P.

There's no regrets; only good times.

Great, Bruddah Chris!
It's a busy weekend for all of us. I have to drive six hours over that morning, but I'm in the 10:40 a.m. class so I can sleep in until almost 4 a.m.

Keep an eye on the weather, brah. I'd hate to see you stuck on the other side of Snoqualmie Pass.

Aloha e Jessie!
You all are in for one big wonderful experience! If you want to do some homework ahead of time, bone-up on your Merle Haggard and Beetoven. I'll be with you all in spirit. And if you get challanged to write one song, I want to hear about it. K'den? K'den!

BWOP,
I can play Bach's Minuet in G and "Mama Tried" in taropatch (capo up to C), but whatever we play, it's all good. Patrick makes everyone feel comfortable wherever he is and I could listen to Rev. Dennis play just about anything, which he does.
I got a big mouth around here, but I'm ready to lurk-and-learn at the workshop. I'll post pictures and reviews when I get back.
