Having just sold the Kamaka soprano, I am seeking good, moderate priced, high functionality tenor uke for committed relationship, long walks on the beach, sunset kankikapila, and nahenahe sounds. Koa preferred.
We will be circling big island starting next week...any good stops recommended? What can I expect in the $300-400 range?

There are a few music good stores here, but a particular one I go to is Pacific Music Connection because of thier customer service. They have a wide selection of `ukuleles, as well as basses, guitars, strings, amps, etc. Brandon, the owner, is really nice and helpful.
The address is 834 Kilauea Ave. It's right in downtown Hilo.

Wish we were spending a litte more time in Hilo...but will try to get over there...depends on the road manager! I definitely want to check out the University and the music store.
And any music gatherings! |
