I think it's safer for all of us that this is predominantly a cyber-ohana. Can you imagine all these characters together in one place? Wait'll Ianui gets started.....
It may be worth finding out where La Honda is so we'll recognize Gordo in the B-kini...
It's going to be fun meeting Sarah and Reid next month - NE meets SW. Watch Out!!

BTW Gordo, it's 12-string, not 12-step. Heck, the 2-step is hard enough! And, the 12-string, being a naturally larger instrument, gives you more to hide behind in that bikini.
Oh my, this just in over the wire;
The next regularly scheduled Monday night meeting of the SCSKS will be held on Tuesday this Wednesday, because Thursday falls on a Friday this Satruday, and Sunday, is, of course, a holiday
And, remember; if you don't thnk too good, don't think too much.

Okay! Okay! I resolve not to tell any more corny jokes;
"HEllo! What's that? The church burned down? Holy Smoke!"

Aloha Karl... perhaps the frozen north has preserved you better, but I'm still a year younger!!
And when my son heard that song on Dr Dimento, he laughed hysterically and said - "Hey Mom, you gotta hear this funny song". He laughed even more hysterically when I started singing along with it. He's 34 now - that was in his younger days - about 8th grade?
And thanks neejie - that's about it!
And I think Burt still has it for Class Clown!!

Good ol'Dr Dememto.
Hey, months ago I was whining about how you gasl get called Auntie, and we don't get called Uncle until we are either dead or really famous. Well, in going thru my 3 boxes of old photos the other day i came across several of my old rugby team. As with most things, i got a late start at 25, but started another team at age38 here in Fairbanks. As i was the elder statesman of the sport at the time, i was given the moniker, Uncle Karl. Not sure hoow much respect there was conveyed with that, but it stuck for years. In fact, the one person older than me on the original team gave me the name, perhaps to make himself feel better. He did not play much, but was a good bagpiper and would pipe us on the pitch before each game, dressed in full scottish marching regalia. I thought it was really cool, but the ( mostly young) rock-heads on the team called his efforts the "Dyiing Cat Band".
Anyway, my fame still lives on (as in "the older i get, the better i was"), as one of the old teammates greeted me with an Uncle Karl the other day. I am down to just reffing games now, and that is a real trip if you like respect; the rugby ref, although you may bad-mouth him after the game, commands the utmost respect on the pitch. You talk back to him and yuo get penalized.
And there is nothing wrong with keeping good company with yourself, either. Heck, yoiu gotta like somebody!

Yes.. I know what you mean... as I am often beside myself!

If fact, the other day there was party with three companions:

.....Me, myself and I

Aloha all -
all you have to do to be called auntie or uncle is be around a bunch of little keiki and their parents. They call you auntie nancy or uncle karl instead of Mrs Cook or Mr. Monetti.
A great deal more respect than that is offered to our KUMU when we call them Aunty and Uncle.
As we get older and forget names, it's easy to call any adult auntie or uncle and get away with it. Not that any of you would forget anyone's name........
hugs!!

Uncle nevah know dat your oddah Auntie wen fly in from Hawaii. Said she left Uncle home wit da kids. It seems dat Uncle nevah know your Auntie but Auntie did know your Uncle. So I went to Uncle's house where Auntie was talking to him. Dey said that Auntie and Uncle was goin fo come ova and talk about your Uncle's Auntie. Dey had plenny peetchas from da family reunion.
