The Barclay theater in Irvine is having a 4-day event 19 - 23 April. The festival starts on Wednesday the 20th w/ uluaou, a celebration of traditional hula. Thursday Eddie Kamae will perform. Friday will be Ke Aka, hula and chanting with Charles Ka'upu. The event ends on Saturday w/ 2 HAPA Maui blow out shows. If you go all 4 days there's a discount, but I think most Taropatchers will be down in Encinitas to join with the Brown Ohana Friday night the 22nd - too exciting to miss, especially after so many of the other Aloha Camp kumus gave their performances this past Sunday night.
