These two have been out a year or two(2003), but I listen to both quite a bit. They each would make a good sampler for friends or as a gift, or even for one's self :0

This came out to coincide with a TV special, I believe.
Probably can get it through National Geographic
Excellent four-fold, color mini-poster with brief bio's of all the artists, timeline of hawai`i, other tidbits. Nice package.

Both are excellent -- for local Silicon Valley people -- Sun Jose Hawaii tells me they are really good sellers at their store, too.
