hey el jefe, i was thinking of you last week. i heard about a ukulele luthier named ken potts who seems to be making (relatively!) inexpensive high octane ukuleles. he lives and works in lahaina. you can check out his web site at http://kpukulele.com. i didn't get a chance to play any, but lahaina is abuzz with them.

waiting for my issue to arrive.
me -- i've sworn off any expensive custom made ukes. too many problems in the past, and dealing with the egos of these glorified carpenters is too much for me. i'm stockpiling enough vintage gibsons and martins to last my lifetime. and of course, i'll always want wall hangers for uke shui purposes.
