Aloha all,

Man, you guys make me wish I was in Maui. Thanks for the photo. I'll go check out the mp3's soon and then I'll almost feel like I was there.

Bill may be the one guy who gets less sleep than me, but I'm not sure about that. Aloha Bill. Go to bed already!

Andy

Aloha and Good Evening Andy!

Well, I'm usually up all night! But during a regular work-week, I try to get as much sleep as needed to get pumped-up for an eight hour day under the hot Hawaiian Sun. It gets very hot.....But a Friday like today, as soon as I'm clocked-out, YEEEEEEEEEHAAAAAAAHHH!!!!!!!!! Then I start singing the "It's Aloha Friday Song"!

The time right now is 7:27 p.m. I'm at my computer desk tapping away and enjoying a really cold one! Yeah! Wish you could've joined us at Keith's and Susie's place. The "Sunset Added to the Moment in time...
Hey! Did you check-out Keith's 411 on my version of Lahainaluna? How is Lynnette? Please give her my Aloha!

So....Andy! When's your's and Lynnette's plan to make it back to our "Valley Isle"? I still wish it was possible to have the "Star Trek Ability to BEAM-ME-UP SCOTTY"! That would be so 'kewl'......BTW! Did you get my mailing address?

Well, I'm gonna hit that nice comforting shower. I've been doing some cooking down-stairs. Rather than waiting till later, I decided to clean myself up enough so I could do it early.

Now I'm headed down to check-it-out! Right now the humidity is beginning to kick-in-to overdrive. Sheeeesh! Take care! God Bless! Good Health and Prosperity! But above all else.....no fo-get to JUS" PRESS!!!!!! A Hui Hou!

Aloha Slackkey Bill,

Just came upon this pleasant thread about the upcoming kanikapila on the 21st. I live in Waiehu at the Oceanview Estates so I'm not far from your place. Can I join you guys? What's the address?

Oh ya, Will see you there bruddah!
I play Open G too but Cyril Pahinui at the SlackKey workshop last June showed us his version of C "Pahinui" he called it, and it sounded good brah and easy to learn. Someday when I get time I like really get into it.

Aloha Marzullo,
Sorry I posted my first reply on a new thread! Anyway, I am not familiar with the C wahine, cuz I am one of those guys that got stuck with the taropatch, and I love it. Is the C wahine the same as the drop C? I remember when we were trying to rationalize the Pahinui C tuning so we can remember it later, I think you first tune it to Drop C, and then do an A chord, afterwhich, you adjust all the strings that you are pressing so that they become "open A" chord. Does that make sense? Anyway, better to wait for the tabs.

Aloha Keith,

It's me again. Found my notes, here is "Pahinui C" tuning:
C G E G C E

Email me your Fax number and I will send you tabs on basic chords with this tuning.

Enjoy!
