Just another thought here...
I promise to scour the Internet looking for tabs of the original Opihi Moemoe, Leonards book, and whatever. But what happens when this stuff is simply not available? Surely there are people here who have this stuff...and this one particular song is in the public domain... I guess I am confused. If it is in the public domain, then why would the tabs of the original Opihi be hard to come by?

OK! Got it now!
Wouldn't it be great if some of this stuff could come back into print?

I finally got around to downloading the s/w and tabs. That s/w is awsome. I learned the first 20 measures of Whee Ha in less than an hour...68 left. Highly recommend. Think I will buy the tabledit upgrade.

Wow! I'm loving Led's Ki Ho`alu as a Hammond Organ, and the accordion and Shakuhachi aren't bad either!

Not sure if it's my old G3 mac, or my old Gordo drive, but I downloaded these two links, and can't get it into a useful format...
when I open I get the codes layout... I don't have a sound module other than what's on this ol' mac...but would love to get to the tabs.... Do I need software, hardware, or perhaps some tupperware? NO KAPILA Dinosaur Kane |

Mahalo. I like the angelfire Site. Especially like the fact that I can now play some great slack key from Ledward. Measure by measure, Wow. Aloha till later, Collins |

Whew, after 1 and a half months, I'm finally finished with He Aloha No 'O Honolulu; not perfect but I can now play all the way through.
Has anyone yet contacted Donald J. Harbin, the fella who transcribed these Tabs? I tried emailing him at harbin @ spectra.eng.hawaii.edu and jharbin @ pixi.com but no response.
If you are out there Donald, let me be one of many to thank you for transcribing these tabs and posting them to the internet.
