Eddie Kamae's films get get theatrical and educational-institution screenings and may have been shown on TV in Hawai`i, but as far as I know, there have been no commercial releases.

I've seen an out-of-print VHS release referred to at several sites on the Web. (None of them sell it, unfortunately.)

some years ago you could buy 3 different eddie kamae videos, the hawaiian way, listen to the forest, and li'a the legacy of a hawaiian man, they were all advertised in different publications. i ordered mine through hawaii sons, po box 8230, honolulu, hi. 96830, the hawaiian way shows copyright 1993. seems theyre no longer published, thats a shame. hopefully they will rerelease them all (on dvd!).

Aloha Paul,
Eddie and Myrna do make wonderful movies and they have been shown on TV here in Hawaii  We have also gotten to go to some of their Film Festival Screenings.

Maybe you could write them at the Asian Pacific Foundation and see if they have any of them or hint at the re-release idea.
