I'd be happier if it weren't for the fact that it was the local team here that they beat! |
Craig My goal is to be able to play as well as people think I can. |

By any chance did anyone get a chance to record it? I was on oahu that day and was trying to get to a tv so i could watch it but no luck and then when i reached the airport to fly back home everyone was jumping up and down and thats when i found out the good news. I was following the boy's for the past to weeks, ( on tv.) and went to oahu over the weekend to play for my auntys 70 birthday, I could'nt get away to try and catch it on tv, I've seen part of it on the news....( the home run hit.) So i was wondering if anyone had a chance to record it.
Last week i had a chance to watch one of there games on ESPN, they won and after the game one of the commentators asked them who was Kamehameha? and i was oh-oh? one of the boys had a funny look on his face, he looked up in the air, scratched his head and i was like......oh man...and the other boy said....he was the one that united all the hawaiian islands under one king. At that second i felt proud not jus for them but knowing i live on one of the islands they were talking about. They desreve a month of from school! haa! haa!.....Right On Ewa Beach!

Go EWA BEACH!! We Won... (sorry craig) We were at a kanikaplia in the L.A. valley and everyone there was treating like a superbowl victory. What was more immpressive was that it was come-from-behind victory. Awesome -slkho |

I was at the USC-UH football game last Saturday at Aloha Stadium and both the Ewa Beach Little League team and the Cal Ripken champions were introduced to the crowd. They both received huge ovations. The Ripken kids played catch with Pete Carroll, the USC coach, before the game and when the Ewa Beach team was introduced at halftime they bowed to all four directions of the stadium. Pretty impressive for all concerned and the crowd loved it. Sandy |
