Just got back from the Na Leo & Keali'i Reichel concert held up here - which is coming to San Diego and LA in the next few days--- Go! Buy scalped tickets if you have to!
This was probably the best Hawaiian performance/concert I've been to. Na Leo was in perfect form -- a "biggest hits" presentation with 3 songs from their forthcoming release. Brian Kessler played lead guitar for them. Keali'i ... all the big hits plus some mele I haven't heard him do ... and every mele was accompanyied by hula -- even a solo by KR himself -- 3 kumu hula danced, as did the ladies of KR's halau. P. Noglemeier danced to one of his own mele.
