Good plan Puna -
I think I've said before that I use my iPod w/ iTalk. I can hook it up to regular speakers, headphones, or the computer. The good part about putting it on my computer is that I can drag it back and forth and listen to little bits at a time. And frankly, the quality is good enough to burn to CD to use among friends - if your (my) friends can stand my playing. I can't imagine ever spending thousands of dollars to listen to myself play. And too, I record bits of lessons - the relevent stuff so I don't have to create or use tab, but I get all the info - which string, which fret, which chord, which finger, where to hit on, slide etc, all in about a 3-minute bite. I guess this is answering the first part of Andy's question. Note that he's already an excellent player.

Ahh..... Yes.... but you should understand that in eastern philosophy (Buddism, Hinduism, etc.) confusion is actually a high state of consiousness and lies just on the near side of "true enlightenment".

Yes, Karl...

As Bob Dylan once said:

In a soldier's stance, I aimed my hand
At the mongrel dogs who teach
Fearing not that I'd become my enemy
In the instant that I preach
My pathway led by confusion boats
Mutiny from stern to bow.
Ah, but I was so much older then,
I'm younger than that now.

Now all you have to do is become younger, then you will have
