I've just returned from a brief tour of the Kamaka 'uke factory. OK, it was a virtual tour, I couldn't smell the fragrance of fresh cut wood, but it was still very interesting. Frank Ford and his camera was the tour guide. It starts here.
Frank Ford's site, www.frets.com is a treasure house of information on guitars, mainly, for players, for luthiers, and for adventurous amateurs wanting to make small changes in their guitar like replacing saddle or nut with bone. Andy will shortly/already has added the site to the Links page.
