The webhost where the Taropatch.net files live has been acquired. At some point this month, the files will need to be moved from Wisconsin to Massachusetts.
Changing servers can be a real PITA trying to get every working on a new server with slightly different configurations. Even if all goes smoothly, the forum will be offline for anywhere from a few hours to 48 hours.
I have been testing various things to prepare for a smooth move. I am not certain what day I will do it yet. I'll keep you posted.

I'm going to give this a go tonight. Hopefully the transition will not be too bumpy!

The move went surprisingly smoothly. Just a small hiccup or else it would have been completed even quicker.

Anyone else out there having problems? I got the following report and wonder if anyone else has seen this.quote:
I keep getting timeouts and "Server Reset page" msgs during submissions. Also, auto logoffs.

Not got that problem, but it's not remembering what sites I been to---gotta check the dates to find the new ones (oh, the terrible labor thereof  ). Dis I can survive quite nicely, for the sake of such a groovy place to "live" |
