Ozzie's version of Chet Atkin's version of `Opihi moe moe (which is on Ozzie's new album) is one of the TABs that he gives out in workshops. You might try getting ahold of him.

Thank you very much. Opihi Moemoe is listed as Hawaiian in the Chet Atkins collection. Great site! Rich |

Karl, You need to download the TabEdit for a Mac. There's a link on that page.

See Rich Smith's post. I found it in the Chet Atkins collection I think under American. It's NOT listed as Opihi Moe Moe |

Yeah, Chet called it Hawaiian Slack Key on his Alone album from 1975. Also be sure to check out the 3rd archive from the bottom in the folk link (it was mentioned in another post a while back). |

Can't get this to work. Did the download deal, followed directions, now i have a differnt set of indecipherable figures to ponder over. I really hate computers. This site is one of the only things i can remotely come close to navigating, besides email. The rest of it is a pin in the tartuffle and a waste of time. In my humble opinion. Gonna just figure out how to play the danged tune without help...might get lucky

Aloha e, Karl
Can you do pdf (Adobe files)? If so, I can pdf the files and email them to you. All you need to open them is the free Adobe reader, pre-installed on many computers (and I think they have a Mac version also). |

Re: fonts When you download and install TEFview you a file called TEF260 which is a font file. Double click on it and it will open up with the music notation characters. Click on install. Now when you print it should print OK. I am running an iMac G5. Good luck! Rich |

A friend had the LP years ago. The tune saw listed as "Slack Key", not "Opihi Moemoe". I guess that Chet figgered that his mainland audience could say Slack Key easier. His arrangement has his characteristic bounce, but you can tell he listened hard to Uncle Leonard. |

Karl,
Throw that apple in the woodburner, time to step up to a nice PC. Everthing works and they are cheap.
You already proved you are a non-comformist, no need to push the envelope!!
