Police Beat: Woman arrested in alleged ukulele attack

Advertiser Staff

A 23-year-old Kalihi woman was arrested yesterday after
she allegedly beat a 14-year-old girl with an ukulele at
a playground on the campus of Central Intermediate School.
Police said a school security guard saw what happened and
detained the woman until police arrived to arrest her on
suspicion of second-degree assault.

The girl sustained minor injuries but declined medical
treatment at the scene, police said.

They did not say if the woman and girl were related or
what triggered the incident.

I do not know, maybe this is a new disturbing trend,
or maybe it was just a couple of Flukes.

The girl probably would have declined the musical treatment as well - given the chance.

Being a somewhat "minor" incident, this
story's importance is "diminished" as it
was placed on the backpage. For the
victim and perpetrator this was indeed
"major" and I'm sure will forever strike
a chord when they walk by a music store.

I know I screwed up, I really meant it strikes a familiar chord. Spelling is not my strong suit.

I've been known to do pretty serious damage to chords.
