I've received a couple reports from members that pages have periodically been loading slowly. It was kind of flukey, but I've started to experience it too.

Either forum pages take a while to load or sometimes I get an error message. Anyone else out there seeing this too?

Yes, sometimes so bad I give up and come back later. Sometimes click stop and reload from top menu helps. It seems to be taropatch-unique since the other sites aren't having the problems.

That's not good news. Well, please keep me updated. Maybe time to move to a better server.

I, also experience this a lot. However, it's not predictable.

Note: It happened as I was submitting the above post. I got tired and killed the page after about 8 min. It, happened also when trying to reread the thread to see if my post was accepted.

If you get an error msg, can you please email a screenshot?

Alt-Print Screen takes a shot of your screen. If you can paste it in to Paint or a graphics editor, save the image and email it as an attachment. Email it to support @ taropatch.net

This would help me while troubleshooting. Thanks.

Hey Andy

Just finally logged in and found this string. No need to respond to my earlier message.

I wonder if the delays I am seeing are due to someone else trying to post a message in the same forum. I have given up on times and waited to log in later. I assumed it was congestion at my local router.

My experience is like Dusty's. Sporadic long delays, not terribly often, especially in posting - as when I pressed submit to respond to this thread a few days ago and got infinite hold and, so, I blew out of it.

No error messages ever.

Sorry everyone. Please know that I am working on diagnosing the problem and figuring out a solution. The delays are not only a annoyance to you but to me too!

Oh, so that what it was. I. too, have encountered sporadic delays. Thought it may be related to my "dial-up" service -- speed kills for you DSL and cable hook ups. Dial up is so Hawaiian -- slow and easy, "take your time, bra". Or that it was related to Safari (confession of a MAC snob) because one time when I switched to Explorer the delay was not as pronounced (WOW big word). Anyway most of the time when this happens I retry or come back later. There was one time when I used "$upport" and could not connect with an affiliate link.

THANKS for everybody's patience in the past few weeks. I know that it has been difficult using this forum when it was S-L-O-W to load. Taropatch.net now resides on a new server and we should see much better performance.

Please let me know if you run into issues or things that don't work. I am working on getting the contact form to work right now.
