MentoBuggah,
Thanks for the post. I spoke to someone at Taylor Guitars yesterday so I'll post the details when they're available. I look forward to listening! |

Is anyone able to capture this webcast to save for later viewing and archiving? I would like to know how and what programs to use.

Aloha Ralph - I don't know how to save it, but maybe they'll do it again later because the link from Taylor to the active isn't working. nancy |

We watched it on laptops (wifi) on our patio from 4pm to 9pm (Seattle time). Probably for obvious reasons Taylor did not link to the show until their "Taylor Artists" came on stage. Audio was better than video, but the technical issues were not important. We were watching history. The commercial networks and cable networks would never cover this type of event. The internet has so much potential. I wonder how may "hits" Taylor and Lava captured. From the video the live audience looked small. The quality of the show was very good, interviews backstage and there was something to see and hear between acts although the promise of backstage jams was not fulfilled. We loved this and can only hope for more! |

Aloha All, I just this evening returned from Oahu and was fortunate to have been at the slack key festival yesterday as one of Led Kaapana's workshop students. We had the honor of playing on stage with the man himself at 3:15 pm. What a wonderful opportunity. The crowd was much larger than it might have appeared on the webcast. The weather was beautiful and it was an outstanding performance lineup all day. Can't wait until next year. Hope to see some other taropatchers join in next time. Jerry |

Jerry, I couldn't get that much detail in the video (Taylor Hat) and the guy on the far right of you may have been cut out of the picture (wide angle). In any case, I could tell you were all having a GRAND OL TIME. I saw LOTS OF TEETH ;-) |
