Last yearOzzie Kotani and Steve Sano released a slack key Christmas album that was largely available only in Hawaii, but is in full release this year -- check www.mele.com. I was lucky to get one last year -- This is a great album -- those guys are magic together. If you're looking ahead to the Christmas hoidays and want to hear great Christmas music in slack key -- check this out.
(Does it come across that I'm a fan of both Ozzie and Steve?)

The CD title is "Taro Patch Christmas" -- a truly wonderful instrumental for anyone who loves guitar:

Thanks RJS and Auntie Maria,

I think I'll get it. I knew of it and almost bought it last year from Daniel Ho's website but Christmas was finished.

Next month, I'm playing a Christmas party and need some song ideas. I think we'll (2 slack key guitars) do Jingle Bells, Silent Night, maybe Jingle Bell Rock instrumentals. Anyone have suggestions or tabs of additional songs? We're primarily playing background music and then maybe playing 2-3 songs for hula.

Andy
