The San Francisco Hawaiian Chorus, fresh from a sparkling performance at the Aloha Festival, is preparing for their Summer Concert. Please join us on:
Sunday, August 20, 2006 at 4:00pm Mount Tamalpais United Methodist Church 410 Sycamore Avenue Mill Valley, California
We will be singing in four and eight part harmony and doing a variety of songs from several sources, including Queen Liloukalani to Lena Machado. Just a quick update on the upcoming concert. Fran Guidry and I will open the show, and we're having great fun getting ready - we'll be playing Wai Ulu, a medley of Kuhuku Slack Key and Ke Aloha Slack Key and ending up with a romp through Maori Brown Eyes.
The choir is busy rehearsing songs like: Makalapua, E Mauana Ka Heo, Ka Poli o Waimea, and an wahine rendition of Sanoe. E komo mai! |
