Kamehameha Schools Alumni Association of Northern California presents, THE STORY OF THE UKULELE. Hiram Bell and Chris Kamaka will give a workshop on Aug. 13/Sun from 9am to 4pm at Michaels, 2960 Shoreline Blvd. in Mountainview CA. The cost is $25 and food is available for purchase. Topics include the history and origins of the uke, impact on Hawaii's culture, uke construction past and present, how to play, styles of play, and the future of the ukulele.
