This is RARE! George will be conducting a clinic along with special guest clinicians Martin Pahinui and Aaron Mahi!

The Institute of Hawaiian Music and Culture is proud to present a slack key and Hawaiian music clinic with George Kuo, Martin Pahinui and Aaron Mahi..here's the info!

When: Saturday August 19 10:00am
Where: Templebar Restaurant
984 University Ave, Berkeley Ca

Cost: $35

The clinic will cover the slack key stylings of George Kuo as well as Martin Pahinui. The focus will be on G Taropatch tuning (DGDGBD) as well as the C Maunaloa Tuning.
All levels are welcome, however you should have a basic understanding of guitar.

An added bonus will be Aaron Mahi, former band director of the prestigious Royal Hawaiian Band. He will discuss Hawaiian songs and their mana'o or meaning! This is a clinic everyone should take!
