Just received the following event info from bruddah Timmy Hunt of The Aloha Island Grille (http://www.alohaislandgrille.com). Great show!!! Wish I could pop up to Santa Cruz to check it out!!

SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 24th 2006 at the ATTIC in Santa Cruz. More details will be available in the days to come! This will be an amazing day of Hawaiian Music so DONT miss out!Steven and Keali'i just put out new CD's and they will be sharing their amazing music with us! Stay tuned to this thread and I will update the info very soon! Mahalo nui loa Piko! Awiwi 'O 'oe! Bruddah you should make da trip up to see this one! It looks like this will be a daytime event from 12pm until 4pm! So you can still go to church! After your pau come down and enjoy some ono grinds at the event! Some of our menu will be available as well as the attic's!

This sounds like something we wouldn't want to miss! Nancy, sure, I'm game. My son should be in town as well, as he has 2.5 weeks off in between quarters at the Musicians Institute. He'll be in and out, shouldn't interfere with the plans we already have made. May even join us.

Doh!! In my rush to post the news, I left out a few key items of data... :)
Also, I notice on Keali'i Blaisdell's MySpace page (http://www.myspace.com/kealiiblaisdell) that they are doing another show in the 23rd on Monterey, CA. The location is TBA.

It would be for the Attic show. Any size would be fine, I will put it in a REALLY nice spot! Mahalo for all of your Kokua cuz! I really hope you can make it to this incredible show!
Just announced: Our own... Ilio Nui a.k.a "Slack Dog" will be opening for this event! Make sure to get there early to check em' out! Maika'i Kawika! Can't wait to hear ya! Going get PLENTY people you know!
