I'm looking for someone who would be willing to record an out of print LP onto CD. Hopefully for a reasonable cost. Unfortunately, it isn't slack key -- it's an album of John Williams playing guitar versions of songs by Miki Theodorakis, accompanying a wonderful singer, Maria Farandouli. Any Greckophiles techies out there?

I'll do it for you, Raymond. Can you do the cleanup, track separation, etc. or would you need me to do that as well? The noise reduction especially is the kind of the job that can drag on and on, since it's a judgement call as to how far to pursue the clicks and pops that are best handled on an individual basis.

Raymond, I can't offer anything useful to the thread except I was in love with Nana Mouskouri for a few years.
It had to come out sooner or later... Mike |

Was this the 1971 album "Songs of Freedom"? Sony did issue it on CD in the mid-90's, but it went out-of-print within a few years (as is so often the case with classical releases.) |
