Jack (you newlywed),
Good to hear from you. We are still jamming on Wednesday nights, sometimes Frank-less. How are things on the Big Island. I may be out to watch and volunteer for the Ironman. I'll give your two a call.

How acn a 1950 Martin Ukulele be as new? You must take extra special care with it.

Nancy,
Until a few months ago, Jack lived in San Diego. He was in the Encinitas Ukulele group, sold his house in Point Loma, took his fiance to Kona, got married, and plays with KonaBob and others. I would guess his mobile phone is still a San Diego area code.

Hi Sandy,
Dennis Lake and I are actually working on a Baritone Uke sized acoustic lap steel. Hope I can get it done by the time Keoke's Camp happens here in December.

I just had the great fortune play a duo with one of Hawaii's great musicians: Buddy Fo http://starbulletin.com/2003/03/28/features/story7.html
He plays a 4 string Martin Tenor - and man! He can get some expensive sounding chords out of that buggah! Jack, if you get a chance to hear him, you might decide not to sell! See you on Friday at Keauhou!

Aloha Konabob and Jack:
Please send me a photo when you get the lap steel done. I think that the word for Friday is 'nahenahe'.
Wish I could be there.
A hui hou,
Sandy.
