Anyone ever played a TT Ukuleles? The builder is Leslie Oguma, of Hawaii?

Not a lot of info there, but maybe Fran has additional comments?

T.T. Ukuleles is a very small uke company in Hilo. We visited them after aloha camp this summer. Their instruments are nice, well made and sound great. They have a budget ( ~$250 for a soprano ) line they call Pono. I also bought my harptone case for my Raymond Rapozo tenor (I posted a pic a while back) from them some time ago. Check out their website:

Dusty,

Thanks a ton! I was considering get a Kamaka but the budget's been cut back. I was interested in their Pono Concert model. Did you see or play one?

Sorry, I don't have anything to add on TT Ukuleles. My friend never contacted me to let me know how his concert turned out.

Pops,

Yes we played a Pono concert - almost bought one but we had too many instruments to get home already. They aren't fancy but neither are regular Kamakas. I think it played every bit as good and sounded better than some Kamakas I've played - good volume and sweet tone and less than half the price.
