This weekend, I had the pleasure of meeting some of the members of the Wahi Ku Moku - Boston Hawaiian Club. George Kahumoku, Jr. and Nancy Sweeney were in town so Al Ku`ahi Wong hosted a potluck pa`ina at his Northend home. The party was 12 to 3pm and unfortunately I arrived closer to 3. I just missed the kanikapila with George and others but was greeted by plenty of aloha and ono grinds.
It was a wonderful time. Even though I live 4 hours away, I hope to see everyone again sometime. It is nice to see that aloha is alive and well in Boston, Mass.Andy
Ps. I should also thank our hosts too. Steve for driving me around door-to-door, and Angela for lending me her guitar for the afternoon.
