Saw a plate the other day reading: UKE ON I figured it might mean uke, (right on), or maybe he's from Canada and means Yukon. Anyone know? Maybe he/she is reading this. Eddie in San Jose

Might be that crazy ukulele wielding great-grandson of Jack London, prospecting with his axe in a backpack. |

AHA!!!! I found out that the license plate belongs to a friend of mine (Michael) in the Santa Cruz area. Of course, it would be one of those ukulele nuts of the Ukulele Club of Santa Cruz!
Another whacky ukster...

A bit off topic, but my California license plate is "UKALADY" so if anyone *ever* spots me from the 'Patch be sure to stop me and say, "aloha!" I don't drive that fast in my little Miata so it shouldn't be hard to catch me! |

Tonya, just where in Ca? If I see your car in the San Jose Bay Area I'll beep the horn of the bus I'll be driving. btw, have just ordered my personalized plate reading: UH MNOA. Too bad can't put in the year. Speaking of UH, was sad they lost Sunday's game. Still a great year for my ole school. Eddie |

Tonya, I don't know about Chico, but Paradise is rightly named. Once went there and afterward followed the Feather River to Reno. Beautiful country! Beep! Beep! Eddie |
