Mele Kalikimaka

Time again for our open mic, Tuesday, December 12th at

Mission City Coffee Roasting Co,
2221 The Alameda, in Santa Clara

As we do every December, we have a Toys-for-Tots donation. Please bring an unwrapped toy for some special keiki who needs you.

Let's shoot for a big turnout. Tell you friends. Work up a couple special Christmas Mele to wow the crowd.

Take The Alameda, north, off of 880 and it's about two long blocks on your left (just before the Alameda makes the big swing around Santa Clara University)

Signups, as always, will be at 6:30 PM and the first act will be at 7:15.

Thank you once again to Mission City and Sun Jose Hawai`i for sponsoring this event

Mahalo nui loa,

Santa Dog

Hi Dave,

I'm planning to come. Please save a spot for me if I'm stuck in traffic.

Aloha,

Doug

Aloha Dave,

I know I've said this before, but Larry and I hope to be able to come after our workday in Alviso. Would like to bring decorations which include Christmas lights, etc.

So since it takes us forever to practice anything with our schedules, we'll have some Christmas songs ready by June.

Hugs, Julie

Also mucho-mahalo to Julie and Larry for the quite nice holiday stage decorations that all of us were able to enjoy!

As always, I enjoyed the terrific performances by everyone and I really appreciated the wonderful renditions of several Christmas tunes. Was also good to see Julie and Larry perform again as well...

Ah, but what most of us take for granted is all the work done by:

'Ilio Nui, who gets to schlep equipment around and coordinate with the owner of the venue

Lawrence who gets to play soundman along with 'Ilio Nui

and most of all Raymond, who got us started on this path...

How are you Raymond? We miss you.

With much aloha, Julie

Hi, Julie,
Doing fine, almost .... I got into a situation in which I typically work in Tuesday eves, which is why I don't come too often. Was gonna show up Tuesday, but I got that flu tyhat's going around (one of the problems working in senior facilities and board & cares.) ...
Still playing at El Calderon.

Most of our energy, however, is getting the house and ourselves ready for the arrival of the baby boy we are adopting from Guatemala. Spent a week down there with him -- best days of my life. (But you've got experience with that stuff.)
