Does anyone know if there is a scrabble game for the Hawaiian language? I think it would be a great way to reinforce my learning of the language, but regular scrabble has useless consonants and not enough vowels and no okina. I figured if there is a monopoly game for all kind of variations on a theme, that there might be a scrabble for Hawaiian.
You could always buy three sets and only use the Hawaiian consonants. Just make sure you leave in one 'S' in case you can spell 'Sanoe' and make it worth 100 pts.
You might pose this question to Keola on nahenahe.net, too. I know there are crossword puzzles in Hawaiian language, and those fridge-magnet thingies (multiple words; make-your-own-sentence), but I haven't run across a Hawaiian scrabble game...yet.
Tooooooooo funny -- I just googled for "Hawaiian scrabble", and the first thing that came up using that phrase, defined it as "nothing but vowels". Ha!
