And now for something completely different...

About a month ago I did a phone interview with David Battino of O'Reilly Digital Media onn the topic of portable digital recorders. I'd forgotten all about until I stumbled upon it this afternoon while looking for something else.

You might find it interesting -- we talk about the new Zoom H4, mics, voice recorders, techniques, in-ear microphones, how to record the ice falling off your igloo..... And, as a bonus, there's a nice audio clip of Robyn Mahealani Kneubuhl.

Here's tis: http://digitalmedia.oreilly.com/2006/12/08/digital-media-insider-podcast-5-portable-recorders.html

No... but it shoulda been a dictionary.

Sorry, Rybon... err, Robyn.

BTW: I actually have two camel bladder lamps, but only one is in the studio. That one was a gift from the wife of a fellow studio owner -- she wanted it out of her husband's studio, and who was I to say no?

The other I've had since college, which makes it an antique.

yrs for truth, beauty & recycled camel parts,

Mark, who does not own any dead frogs holding itty bitty musical instruments, unlike some people I know.
