I was listening to Led playing "Koke`e" on subject CD. It is a very nice rendition with autoharp. However, whilst I was listening, it seemed like it sounded a bit like "Any Dream Will Do" from Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat.

Does anyone else see a similarity?

Boy, I really like "Waltz of the Wind" with Allison Krause singiing. It touches the hillbilly in me.

I find the main melody somewhat similar but there are plenty of notes different. The bridge is completely different. IMHO With the words
sung the differences are more noticeable.

Have been playing my own slack key arrangement of "Waltz of the Wind" in the key of "L" [for L Kwan & Led K]= taropatch w/C bass. Can modulate keys like this recording does if y're a "left-hand thumb-hook" player. Quite fond of this album.

You mentioned a performer I like a lot.
Alison Krause & band are so good. It was unbelievable when Alison & band, and Vince Gill & band got together for a TV special last year.
Talk about a group of talented musicians! Wow!
