Hi there. Just to introduce myself: My name is Tim Tweedale. I am a steel guitarist, and I've been studying, playing and listening to Hawaiian steel guitar for about ten years now. I have just started a little singing in Hawaiian too.
I'm looking for a little help translating a few words and phrases into Hawaiian. I'm not looking to learn the language at this point; just looking for some help clarifying some words and meanings. So if there's someone out there who's quite fluent who could email me and offer some help, that would be fantastic. My email address is timtweedale @ gmail.com

Tim,
If it is just a few words, why don't you use this, which is a subset of Ulukau.

This and other resources are listed and discussed here on TP and you can find them, if you simply search for them (include the archives when you search).

Aloha Tim, I can help translate your words and phrases for you. What are they? I am quite fluent and I took Hawaiian language classes while in college up to the 202 level. Please feel free to email me anytime.

Hey, Tim! I've just recently moved to Cali a year now. I am born and raised a native Hawaiian in Waimanalo, O'ahu and have recently moved here to California a year ago. I taught at a Hawaiian language immersion school in Palolo called Ke Kula Kaiapuni 'O Anuenue for several years and then taught at an all-boys catholic school (Hawaiian Language/Hawaiian Studies) for a year before coming here.
You may use me as a resource as well if you like. My e-mail address is mmiles35 @ yahoo.com.
Aloha no!
