Hey Wanda I am back at work so that means back at the computer. I do the billing, Insurance( argue with Medicare ect as to why we really should get paid for what we have already done) and am office manager for my Husbands Family Practice. And TADA since going to Camp I now an instant preformer (hahahahahaha). When I got back to the Big Island my Instructor and friend Aunty Marjorie decided that I would ( not asked mind you but decided ) join a group that played at the Orchid Hotel on Saturday Mornings for 2 hours while people check in. after a week of sheer TERROR I really had fun!. The others that I met on the Island were wonderful and I WILL FIND SOMEWAY to move us over there full time! I played in one Kanakipila or another almost every day and my poor husband the saint came along. He even spent the whole day at the Ukulele festival with me while I helped Aunty. He does have his favorite musicians so was glad to leave and go see Keoki for a while. I think he would watch him all day. We were lucky to get to see him twice while we were there Once at the Talk Story at Mauna Lani with Manoa DNA and then at The Ukulele Festival. If I could figure out the photo posting thing I would put a picture in oh well guess I will just change mine. Glad to hear the rehab is going so great I knew you could do it girl.
Hey Wanda ... well, I've been in the computer field since graduating from college in 86. My focus for the last 10 years or so has been on network architecture and design. I've designed and taken through implementation the largest business and government (except for Federal) networks here in the islands. Pretty fast paced, things constantly changing.
Although I played in a local band after high school - that got set aside with college, family, etc. A year or so ago I took a trip to Kalaupapa for the first time to visit some of the patients. There was a flood of Mana from the people and the place. So it came out of me in a couple of slack key tunes and I've been searching ever since. Not sure what it is I'm searching for, but I'll know it when I hear it. Aloha No!
